Thank you all so much for making the Battle Studies tour such a huge success and a pleasure. I’m going to miss seeing your faces every night. Thanks for singing along. And for accepting me. You don’t know how good that feels. And thanks for the signs, the clever, funny, awesome signs. And for letting me play both my pop radio hits and a 15 minute long jam while giving it the same level of appreciation. Thanks for buying a ticket when money is tight, for waiting in traffic to both enter and leave the venue, and thank you for telling your dubious friends to come with you and see what this “Mayer” guy is all about. Thank you for being fans and thank you for giving me the awesome life I have.
Time to (try to) disappear for a while. Love you guys. A lot.

red toes

when i was younger and i would go get pedis with my mama she would always get red toes and a light color on her nails while i was getting lime green and hot pink, some times even both at once and have every nail different. I remember always trying to convince my mama to get a "COOL" color like electric green, i think even once she did and HATED IT. It must mean that ive grown up some because i now have a deeper respect for the glamourous red nail polish! expecially right now, I have been in this red mood on the search for the perfect red polish and thanks to cup of jo i now am one step closer to theperfect red! not to bright, not to dark but juuuust right.

note to self: do yoga more

the word of the day is balance. i love the way yoga makes my body feel at the moment im in these insane poses and im flipping my body over and doing all this crazy stuff but after you have your moment to collect your thoughts you feel amazing, i feel like there is nothing i cant do after a great yoga class. i just turned my body in all sorts of crazy ways whatever else you are going to throw at me today wont be as big of a deal.
